He didn't mess with the velocities of the notes at all. I was just wondering because he didn't mention the 'Humanize' feature, which looks sort of complicated to me. I haven't really fiddled with humanize yet, just took a glance at it.
This way looks pretty easy though, and I was wondering if this does basically the same thing as the Humanize function? The humanize features allows you to alter a few different parameters including velocity and position. You can choose the amount of variation of each parameter. To me, it's much quicker and easier than what you are describing.

It's just another tool to use in specific situations, not in all, and everyone has the way they work - play-in, write in the piano rol, etc. I just made it for the situations I wanted more control, especially of things like leaving the downbeat free from humanization.
After I made it for that use, I did find a ton of other cool ways to use it to squeeze out a tiny bit more human feel from my computer. I know, just being a wise guy. I will buy it later today. Thanks for the reply. Trying to get my head around using this for tracks with multiple tine signatures.
